Step 1 - Register the device
The tado° app guides you through the registration of your device.
Step 2 - Connect to Wi-Fi
Connect your Smart AC Control to the Internet using your smartphone.
Step 3 - Set up and test with AC
Point your AC remote towards the Smart AC Control and press the On/Off button. When completed, you can test by setting different commands through the app.
Step 4 - Position the device
The tado° Smart AC Control can be mounted on a wall or placed on a bookshelf or mantlepiece – virtually anywhere it will have line-of-sight to your AC.

    Yes, it includes a 5 V (USB - 240V AC plug pack). Keep in mind that it only needs to be within view of your AC IR window - so can sit on a bookshelf, mantel, etc.  It connects directly to WiFi so does not need a brdige.
