Wireless door/window sensors are used to detect when a door or window is opened. These are called Reed switches. They consist of the Reed switch sensor and a small magnet. The Reed switch is placed on either the frame of the door/window and the magnet on the opening part of the door/window. When they are separated the sensor sends a signal to the alarm control panel, if the alarm system is armed it will be triggered. Designed to work perfectly with the Chuango H4 Alarm System.

The Chuango Door / Window sensor can be installed on doors and windows or any other objects that open and close. The sensor transmits a signal to the H4 Security Console when the magnet mounted near the sensor is moved away (door or window is opened).

    We have a large home with a lot of windows, so went with the biggest starter kit (and still had to order extras!) My husband was able to install everything pretty easily. A very good system so far.

    A You will need the main H4 hub for the accessories to work.
    2. When replacing the batteries for the sensor, is it just a matter of taking out the old battery and putting in a new one? Or do I have to reconfigure the sensor (as in like the first time i set it up) after replacing it with a new battery?

    A You will not need to reconfigure the Chuango door / window sensor after replacing batteries. All configurations are stored in "non-volatile" memory, which means the setting are saved even when power is lost.
